A typical automotive fuel filter: A small yet critical member of the fuel delivery system, the fuel filter has a
massive responsibility for proper operation of the system. The fuel filter sifts out dirt and deposits that
typically build up in fuel tanks. This operation is critical to proper operation of fuel injectors, small sprayers
with orifices just a few thousandths of an inch in diameter that deliver fuel to the cylinders.
