With the belt loose, you can lift it off one of the pulleys and then thread it out, using the sticker for guidance.
Do this task in broad daylight or with a bright shop light. If the placard or diagram is missing, draw the belt
routing on paper before loosening and removing the belt. Better safe than sorry. Tip: Remove the belt slowly
and carefully. The easiest path for removing it is the easiest path for installing the new one. Installing the belt
is a bit like a puzzle. Study the routing sticker carefully to determine which pulleys to put it over and under.
Give yourself time to get it right. When you find the proper route, you will need to crank the tensioner in
again to give the new belt enough clearance to sit properly. Once installed and tight, double check the routing
and make sure the belt is fully seated and properly positioned on each pulley.
