Transmission fluid lubricates, hydraulically actuates, and cools the inside of the transmission. It is imperative
that the fluid is cooled for the unit to operate trouble free. A small transmission oil cooler is located within
one of the radiator tanks. Oil flows through this cooler where heat is transferred away from the oil. When you
overheat the transmission from extreme use, the factory-installed oil cooler is not enough. I suggest installing
an auxiliary transmission oil cooler to provide enough protection.
