The camera app is a pleasure to use. But the
slider doesn’t tell you the zoom factor, so we’ve

to match the P30 Pro. In these shots, the deficit
becomes obvious where the brickwork of St. Pancras
Renaissance Hotel becomes a blur.
Since the Pixel 3 isn’t noticeably cheaper than
its rivals, we can’t help but wish Google had spent
the money invested in Super Res Zoom on a second
sensor and lens.
