proceeding at full pace. The first lot of limestone was taken
from CCBC to limestone stockpile on 18 October 2019 and
trials of limestone reclaimer and coal/additive reclaimer
was completed by end October 2019.
By the third week of November 2019 the team was
able to complete the roller press trial, with its auxiliaries
completed on 5 December 2019. Blending silo filling
started on 6 December 2019 and thereafter coal mill trials
were completed on 2 December 2019 and was operated
with material on 13 December 2019. Only pre-heater
finishing jobs were balance, all other jobs were completed
to commission the plant. Both mechanical and E&I team
were devoted to complete the balance jobs.
While finishing jobs were in the final stage, action was
initiated to fix an auspicious date for kiln light-up Puja. On
the project exterior environment front, landscaping, tree
plantation, CCR interior, exterior works, and housekeeping
activities were in full swing.
On the destined day of 12 December 2019, the site
scenario had completely transformed into a festive look.

Limited arrived for the inauguration with the project head
and key members of the group at the Puja venue. The Puja
was performed with devotion and solemnity.
After the hawan ceremony, all the dignitaries walked to
the burner platform and lighted up the kiln together. This
