first motto. The construction of the plant with thousands
of people working to meet deadlines, at heights of more
than 175 metres, heavy lifting were vital challenges for the
project.
The project team had shown very good planning for
hazard identification and risk control techniques. Provision
was made for 3-layer safety nets. High capacity cranes were
hired to bring down the risk to acceptable levels.
Anyone with experience of the risks and unexpected
events in the infrastructure field knows that a safety record
like this does not happen by chance. It is the result of a
constant commitment to protecting people and training so
that the safety of individuals is always put first.
The project achieved the highest level of technical skills
and safety standards in the sector. The construction site
has become a role model for safety standards for Dalmia
Projects. In 2019 the site reached eleven million hours
worked without a single accident. The result of this, we
made world record in cement industry.
A dream does not become reality through magic; it takes
sweat, determination, and hard work. This project is the
result of determination and hard work and the entire Project
Pride team was delighted to commission the project in a
record-breaking time of 15.5 months. This achievement has
created history as a new benchmark in the cement industry,
fastest commissioning from the date of order among the
identical plant capacity.
