manufacturing stage and the efforts were to complete the
deliveries at the earliest.
As of March 2019 major construction highlights were
as under:
• Hoppers were erected in raw material hopper building
• RABH RCC work completed and mechanical erection
had just started, blending silo wall slipping completed
• Pre-heater building reached up to 101 m level
• Kiln Support Rollers under erection
• Cooler building completed up to 8.56 m level
• ESP RCC completed and hopper erection was under
progress
• Clinker silo wall slipping and central shaft slipping
completedIt was April 2019 and the temperatures were rising day
by day but the team was tirelessly working to complete
the project on schedule. The project head decided to visit
every week to boost the morale of the team and to solve the
problems hand in hand so that no work was held up due
to a lack of decision. Along with the project head, the key
members of the team from Head Office also started paying
visits to the site to bolster the site team.
By that time engineering progress was quite good,
though slightly delayed when compared with the original
plan. Major civil drawings had been released, and the
balance structural fabrication drawings was focussed for
early release.
