the balance equipment at the earliest as the erection picked
up; the main concern still being that a lot of deliveries were
expected according to the erection sequence. Our team
played a vital role along with the FLSmidth expediting
team to accelerate the momentum for deliveries. Some of
the equipment received in April 2019 were kiln membrane
coupling, stacker and reclaimer parts, RABH parts, ESP
discharge electrodes, collecting hammering system, etc.
As of April 2019, site construction progress was
approximately at 47%, civil progress was steady but there
was a lack of progress on the fabrication front. Since the
beginning, we had limited space for labour colony, fabrication
yard, and storage yard. We developed the area along with
boundary wall and created space for a labour colony; for
fabrication we identified four locations, first location near
CCBC outside the main boundary wall, second location
inside boundary near raw material hopper (both allotted
to M/s Ayoki), the third location near weighbridge inside
premises (which we utilized for fabrication of RABH, ESP,
coal mill, bag-house), and the fourth location was near
stockpile shed (allotted to M/s HAPBCO) for the fabrication
of belt conveyors and balance structures.
For storage space it was challenging for us to store
reserve stock of sand and aggregates for rainy season,
reinforcement and structural steel, storage of fabricated
materials till the erection, storage of the supplied item.
We created some space initially and as time passed,
with the delivery of equipment, prefabricated shed space
requirement gradually increased. We used the drone
