operational plant at Rajgangpur supported the project by
providing additional space for storage. During summer
holidays, we were able to keep refractory material in
school premises, space near the playground was also
provided to keep many items, some space was developed
outside boundary near CCBC for storage area.
On the erection front, kiln shell was erected after
ground assembly and welding of shell including live ring.
The shells erection was completed in two days, 2 & 3 April
2019 without any major hurdles. A mammoth job, its
completion boosted the morale of the team. It was a world
record as kiln shells with live ring were placed in position
within seven months of the plant ordering, with three-and-
a-half months of manufacturing cycle of kiln shell with an
imported live ring.
