From solid navy, cut:

▫ 9—2^1 ⁄ 2 ×42" binding strips

ASSEMBLE SEGMENTS

Measurements include^1 ⁄ 4 " seam

allowances. Sew with right sides

together unless otherwise stated.

Press seams in directions indicated

by arrows on diagrams. If no direction

is specified, press seam toward darker

fabric.

Referring to Diagram 1, lay out
four solid white 3^1 ⁄ 2 ×42" strips, two
solid blue-gray 3^1 ⁄ 2 ×42" strips, and one
solid green 3^1 ⁄ 2 ×42" strip; sew together
to make Strip Set A. Repeat to make a
second Strip Set A. Cut strip sets into
eighteen 3^1 ⁄ 2 "-wide A segments.
