ASSEMBLE AND ADD BORDER

Sew together two solid white
61 ∕ 2 × 91 ∕ 2 " strips, three solid teal
31 ∕ 2 × 61 ∕ 2 " rectangles, and two solid
white 6^1 ∕ 2 × 211 ∕ 2 " strips to make a
short border strip (Quilt Assembly
Diagram). Press seams toward solid
teal rectangles. The strip should be
61 ∕ 2 × 691 ∕ 2 " including seam allowances.
Repeat to make a second short
border strip.

Sew together two solid white
61 ∕ 2 × 151 ∕ 2 " strips, three solid teal
31 ∕ 2 × 61 ∕ 2 " rectangles, and two solid
white 6^1 ∕ 2 × 211 ∕ 2 " strips to make a
long border strip (Quilt Assembly
Diagram). Press seams toward solid
teal rectangles. The strip should be
61 ∕ 2 × 811 ∕ 2 " including seam allowances.
Repeat to make a second long
border strip.

Sew short border strips to

opposite edges of quilt center.

Add long border strips to remaining

edges to complete quilt top. Press

seams toward border.

FINISH QUILT

shapes and angled lines to create

medallion designs centered on the

solid green and solid gray areas of the

quilt center (Quilting Diagram) and

parallel and diagonal lines in the solid

white areas of the quilt center and

border.

Bind with solid navy binding
