Sincewemet 12 yearsago,we’veloved

visitingantiquesemporiums,pickingup

bargainshere,thereandeverywhere!

In 2008weboughta Victoriansemiin

Warringtonthathadbeenrenovatedby

a propertydeveloper.Sadly,mostof the

periodfeatureshadbeenlostandwe

spenttwoyearsrestoringtheproperty

withoriginalfeaturesandfurnishings.

In 2012wehadtheopportunityto buy

BrooksideFarmin Rixton,Warrington,

andwerenovatedthefarmhouse.

WhydidyouopenNicsNacs?

In 2015ourtwindaughterswereborn,

andwhileonmaternityleaveNicbegan

to planournextproject.Weopeneda

shopin anoldmilkingparlourbehind

ourhouseandNicsNacsbegantrading.

Oncethehousewasfinished,I was

taskedwithfillingthebuildingwithstuff

andwestartedsellingonlineor by

appointment.Webeganopeningon

a Sundayandwordstartedto spread.

Asthenumberof customersvisitingona

Sundayincreased,webeganrenovating

the building and expanded the shop.

Westockallsorts,from5pmarblesto an

18th-centurychest-on-chestfor£1,100.

Wealwayshavetaxidermyitemsas

wellasecclesiasticalpieces– weseem

to bedrawnto them.Weaimto stock

somethingforeveryone:reasonably

pricedantique,vintageandsalvaged

decorativeitems,curiosandfurniture.
