The blue paint in the salon is
a typical island colour, but
has to be passed by the local
archaeological committee. The
ornate gilt mirror belonged
to the Greek doctor of King
Farouk, who once had a
house on the island. Tety
bought the early 20th-century
rug and the pendant lamp in
Athens. The long sofa was
made by local artisans.
