number of losses until the team has no chance of reaching a certain goal

but with the amount of wins.

// Runs per Game

If you got 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7 for your grades on six MYP courses, you can
easily calculate that you got an average of 6. Likewise, we can calculate
that if a batter went 2 for 4, the average is 0.500. In mathematics, an
average is a single number taken as representative of a list of numbers.
It is calculated by dividing the total of all the values by the number of
values.

Definition of average in baseball is dividing the total amount of hits by
times at-bat. In statistics, we use values such as median (the middle value
when the data set is sorted by its size) and mode (the value that appears
most frequently in a data set) depending on the situation. Variance and
standard deviation is calculated to correctly analyze the characteristics of
the data to use in different fields of study.

As mentioned before, baseball is, in a way, a 1v1 battle between a pitcher
and batter. So when we watch baseball, we might think: does pitcher
have an edge over batters?

Obviously, a good pitcher will get most outs while allowing least runs.
There are indicators such as ERA, IP, K, for pitchers to evaluate their
individual ability. A good batter will have good records with his ability to
accurately hit the ball, to hit the ball further, or to not be caught out.
There are indicators such as AVG, OBP, SLG for batters to rate their
