Batters showed relatively better performance in 2020, based on an R/G
value of 4.65 compared with the ten-seasons average of 4.42. However,
we know baseball teams do not always score 4 or 5 points per game.
Sometimes there are double digit runs scored by both teams, while some
matches are extremely tight that team can win with a single run.
Therefore, we can be interested in how many runs can be scored per
game. How many points can we estimate and expect from a baseball
game? Following is the data from all games in the 2020 season, organized
it into a table and a bar graph with x-value of points scored, and y-value
of frequency.
