Additionally, median and standard deviation can be calculated.
There are 1796 sets of data, and the median is the middle value of the
data sets. Middle value is the mean between 898th and 899th value when
aligned in order, which are both 4. In statistics, the mean, mode and
median can be used to figure out if you have a positively or negatively
skewed distribution. For these data sets, mean is greater than the median,
so it is considered positively skewed, and the example graph matches the
shape of our bar graph.

The standard deviation is a quantity expressing by how much the
members of a group differ from the mean value for the group, in other
words, how much the data sets are distributed.


Let's go back to the previous example. We discovered that data sets with a
wide range of 0 and 29 gave us a R/G value of 4.65. The same R/G value
can result if the teams always score 4 or 5 points or if half of the baseball
teams score only 9 or 10 points and half of the baseball teams never score
a point. Theoretically, the same value is calculated if every single match
