velocity between the change of time between those points. We will bring
two points close to each other, as close as possible so that the distance
between two points is almost zero. It cannot be zero because the ‘change’
of time and distance will not exist. This is a concept of limit, a value of a
function as an input approaches a specific number. If the distance
between two points approaches zero, we can think that the slope of the
line connecting two points can be the instantaneous rate of change. In
calculation, lim is simply used to represent the value when the input
x→ 0
approaches zero.
