Today,Viviandherarchitectpartner,
ChristianKorsgaard,havecreateda homethat
hasretaineda senseofitshistorywhilealso
cateringformodernlifewithcustom-made
furniture,smartstorage,a vibrantcolourpalette
andplentyofartandpersonalobjects.
“I rememberwhenwestartedtopeeloffthe
wallpaperandthesmellofoldcigarettesjust
spreadthroughouttheapartment,”saysVivi.
“I becamea bitnervousthatthesmellwould
stayforever!ButChristianwasveryoptimistic.
Thiswasourthirdprojecttogetherandweare
sohappywiththeoutcome.Thereis a huge
amountofsatisfaction in seeing your vision

markets.Vivi’spersonalstylecanalsobeseen
inthedecor.“I liketolivethesamewayI like

stillwitha classictouch,”shesays.
Althoughtheapartmentis clearlyoccupied
bytwodesigners,withitschicfurnishingsand
functionalutilities,it’salsoanutterly unique
andentirelypersonalspace.
“Ourhomeshouldreflectwhoweare,”says
Vivi.“Wejustdowhatwethinkis cool;we
collectthingsthatwearedrawnto,andweuse
