LIVING&DINING
Thelivingroom,whichleadsoffthekitchen,is
paintedinJotun‘TenderGreen’,whichcreates
a perfectbackdropforthecouple’scollectionof
artandobjects.Vivicollectstablelamps,many
ofwhichadornherhome.Christian’scousinis
artistLoneSeeberganda numberofherworks,
includinga largestreetart-style painting, can
befoundonthewalls.
Thekitchen-diningareahasbeenkept
deliberatelysimpleintermsof itsfurnishings
andis paintedinJotun‘Senses’.Thisspace
alsodoublesasa workspaceforVivi.“I tryto
workfromhomeinthemorningbeforegoingto
meetingsortotheoffice.It’sa good way for me
toclearmyhead,”she says.
KITCHEN
Duringtheirrenovation,ViviandChristian
decidedtomovethekitchenintothemiddleof
theapartment.“I loveourkitchenandit wasa
greatdecisiontomakeit theheartofthewhole
apartment,”Vivisays.“Inordertomoveit we
hadto‘blind’a doubledoorandcreatea single
doorintoourbedroom,”sheexplains.
Theblackkitchencabinetryis fromIkeaand
is finishedwitha blackCorianbenchtop.The
extractorhoodwascoveredinblack-painted
steeltokeepthelookconsistent.
“Weareinthekitchenmostofthetime
- thekidsplayherewhenwearemaking
dinneranda lotofactivitytakesplaceinhere,
thereforeit wasimportant for me to just keep it
simple,” Vivi says.
