I’m inspired by art and design from
all over the world, across the ages.
Art and design has no boundaries,
anything that is aesthetic from
anywhere in the world can become
part of my design.
Current design trends...
I aspire to achieve an ageless trend
that will withstand the test of time.
Borrowing trends from the past,
fusing them here in the present into
a harmonious whole, and making it
future-ready is what I strive for.
Your designs are a reflection of...
My designs are a reflection of my unique
style that pays homage to my learnings,
experiences and experiments as a designer.
It showcases all that I see, hear and
experience as a creative person. These
influences then mutate and bear my stamp
of style.
Your journey so far...
The journey so far has been a complex
roller-coaster that straddles many design
spheres. Dabbling in many design languages
and finding my own unique expression has
been the greatest achievement. I’m glad that
my style of work has found many takers and
has received appreciation.
Your most valuable project till date...
It is hard to pinpoint a particular project as
special... each is an intense, all-consuming
adventure, and each has its own place in
my heart... at the same time, there’s still a
creative quest for that peak joy.
Your advice to young upcoming
designers...
My advice is to find their own style and not
to imitate anyone...seek and develop your
own unique place, create a benchmark for
the rest of the world.
