Backin2016,theMcPhersons,wholiveinthe

Cotswolds,beganhankeringaftera coastalbolthole.

‘Althoughweloveourcountryhome,it couldn’tbe

morelandlocked,’saysMandy.‘Grantoriginallyhails

froma coastaltowninLancashireandhefrequently

talkedaboutspendingmoretimebythesea.’

TheMcPhersonsdecidedtolookfora secondhome,

forweekendsandholidays.StartinginCornwallbut

quicklyrealisingit wastoofarawaytobepractical,

thecouplesearchedfurthereastuntil,inFebruary

2017,theyvieweda houseontheHampshirecoast.

inlovewithwhilevisitingfriends,’saysMandy.
