carriedout,Claraspentsometime

envisioningandplanningthedecor.

Onceagain,simplicitywasthekey.In

keepingwithclassicScandidesign,all

theinternalwallswerepaintedwhite,

andwoodcladdingandflooringwere

usedthroughout.‘Sincethehouse

wasdesignedinDenmark,I really

likedtheideaoffurnishingit with

classicDanishfurniture,’saysClara.

‘I lovethedesignsandI adorethepatina

ofoldwoodandvintagepieces.’Many

happyhourswerespentbrowsingonline

andtrawlingauctionwebsites,waiting

forjusttherightpiecestoappear.

Finishing touches were then added,

withsoft,naturaltextiles,livelyblue

accents,andsplashesofredandblack.

Stockholm.‘I trytocomehereevery

weekendbetweenMayandSeptember,’

shesays.‘I bringmyblackLabrador,Bosse,

andhe’smadefriendswiththebeesand

chickensI keephere.Mymorningsare

spentgardening– I’ma passionatetomato

grower.Myfamilyoftencomesoverinthe

eveningsandwecookdinneronthegrill
