feel cosy rather than empty,’ says Michelle.
Michelle grew up in South Africa, and
after travelling to England on a working
holiday 20 years ago, made the UK her
permanent home. ‘It can be dark here
compared to South Africa,’ she says.
‘Thankfully the house’s large windows and
high ceilings bring a sense of space and light.’
