thathavea stronglook.I amthrilledaboutthisstepchange.WhileI still

loveneutral,calmspaces,it is greattoseewell-designedoff-beathomes

inthemix.AsI havesaidbefore,at25BHwefirmlybelieveinshowing

youvariety– aslongastheyarerealhomeswithpassionateowners.We

loveimaginativeprojects,suchaslightingdesignerEstherPatterson’s

conversioninDerbyshirethat’sfullofeclecticismandvintagefinds

(page58),asmuchasgorgeouslysimpleScandinavian-stylehouses,such

asourdreamycoverstory(page104).Witha light,brightvibe,thistruly

is anidyllicretreat.Fromthisissue,wehavecarveduptheeditofhouses

differently.Ratherthanlabellingthemstylistically,wearesignpostingthe

location:town,country,cityorcoastal.I hopethiscontextoffersa more
