100% with the lifestyle choice to
expose children to nature through
camping. It really is the best decision.
Children who grow up in
the countryside also enjoy the
technological skills of city kids –
computers, televisions, cell phones,
tablets, email communication – but
they have the advantage of getting to
know the fauna, flora and unpolluted,
fresh air too.
They are exposed to sunsets, starry
skies, mountain streams, seasons,
silence, animals, vegetable gardens
and farm life.
They enjoy climbing mountains
and trees!
For city children in apartments
and high-density residential areas,
the camping life (tent or caravan)
is a solution to breaking away from
movies, shopping centres, clubs,
discos, exposure to drugs, group
pressure from friends and limited
living space.
Flat walking surfaces are one
of the reasons that some schools,
especially primary schools, encourage
children to come to school barefoot in
summer... it’s good development for
