Camp & Destination Show,
because we’re officially
hitching on for the ride!
The 2020 show will be
presented in association with
Caravan & Outdoor Life, and
we will be taking a more
active role in the build-up
and coverage of the event.
Known as "the launch pad
of the industry", the show
saw more than 20 brand
new caravans, trailers and
motorhomes launched earlier
this year.
The Pretoria FM Caravan,
Camp & Destination Show
(now in association with
Caravan & Outdoor Life) is
acclaimed as the show with
the largest indoor stands in
Southern Africa.
Currently the show takes
up about 17 000 m2 of the
indoor space at Gallagher
Convention Centre, with over
450 products on display and
an average of 26 000 quality
visitors annually.
Next year celebrates the
16th annual Pretoria FM
Caravan, Camp & Destination
Show (previously known as
the Beeld Holiday Show and
Holidaymakers EXPO).
The show’s focus is on
exhibitors and, as at leading
trade shows in Europe,
visitors will not be distracted
by music concerts or speeding
along a track of sorts.
Show organiser Hampie
de Kock tells Caravan &
Outdoor Life: “Our motto is
‘plan your break’ –visitors
attend in order to plan
properly,affordingthemanopportunitytoapplytheir
accessories appropriately at a
selected destination.
“The 2020 show is yet
again going to be the most
representative exhibition in
the industry. To list all the
new items here is not really
possible... so, for the real
enthusiast, visiting the show
is the only way to discover
what’s new in the market.”
Belinda Pieterson from
Pretoria FM adds: “One of
the reasons we decided to
become involved with the
show is because there are
experts who can give advice
on all the aspects of the
outdoor life.
“The show also displays
a wide variety of products,
and visitors can actually
experience the caravans,
trailers, motorhomes and
outdoor products firsthand to
decide what is best for them
and their families.”
Caravan & Outdoor Life will
be present at the show in
2020, with special offers and
promotions, and our editorial
staff will be conducting live
interviews on Pretoria FM, as
well as with exhibitioners.
