motorhomewater leaks. Exterior corners receive
a further covering strip to ensure a
watertight construction.
What is new on this model is the
fiberglass roof section over the driver’s
cab, this is made locally.
Private owners have a choice of
chassis cab, Iveco or Mercedes Benz,
but more of that later.
Would I change anything on the
version featured here? Probably not.
The interior layout is a classic: a rear
fixed double bed, centre kitchen galley
with a new Thetfords three-burner gas
stove and matching sink with hot and
cold water, plus numerous cupboards,
all on the door side of the motorhome.
The road-side has a matching freezer
and fridge, separated by a convectional
microwave oven.
This makes for close quarters
catering, everything is quick to hand
and practical, not to mention very,
very stylish!
That double bed also deserves
mentioning. It has been raised for
better vision out the expansive,
surrounding glass windows.
Underneath is a storage area and by
raising the normal bed height there is
now more packing space too.
Behind the driver’s seat is a
comfortable two-seater dinette that
converts into the second double
bed, while behind the passenger’s
seat is a combination shower/toilet
compartment with a hand basin.
This dinette is a comfortable place to
sit and is equipped with safety belts for
two passengers while travelling.
It’s a simple layout which makes it
both practical and classic and,not to forget, very classy with
upmarket LED lighting, stylish
modern inlays, rounded aircraft-style
doors on storage lockers, very nice
press-button chromed door catches,
illuminated wine glass cabinet and
well-chosen wood panelling with
matchingcloth furnishings.featUres
Evolution, global village, a heritage,
it all plays a part. The global village
gives access to importation of the
latest materials from side panels to
appliances, even fittings such as
simple door catches.
Gone are the days of making walls
in-house by unskilled workers, and as
a result the motorhomes we have here
now are world class and being exported
to Australia and China.
