THE TRUE STORY OF...
The ultrasound was scheduled. No traces of tumors in the liver could be
found. Was it too good to be true? Even the large cyst was gone. Had it been
missed somehow? The texture of the liver was exceptionally good; this was
obviously a healthy liver now. If there were remnant bits of tumor, they
would be just that...remnant bits. The ultrasound showed many views of the
liver taken from different angles. They were all uniformly good. One is
shown.
The new blood test, done Oct. 2, was not yet perfect. But the total pro-
tein was no longer too high. The iron level was perfect. And bone was no
longer dissolving. Maybe her dental cleanup was perfect. She will do a CT
liver scan in a month and another blood test including Ca 125.
