Instead, a follow up ultrasound of kidney and bladder was done. On
Dec. 5, his new ultrasounds showed NOTHING in the kidney. Nothing at all
where the tumor had
been. And the bladder
tumor was about half
the original size. Hap-
piness reigned for the
rest of that day and he
was determined to go
home. But not before
his cavities were
filled! He had twelve
empty holes in his
teeth. Without
authorization he got
them all filled.
On Dec. 6, we
tested him one last
time. He was positive
for cobalt and vana-
dium again! And the RBC was back up.
He had obtained new temporary fillings: twelve of them. Only zinc ox-
ide and eugenol was used; we had tested many such products and always
found them pure. But had the new dentist used some “nerve protectant”? Or
a faster-setting variety of zinc oxide plus eugenol? Or had unsafe plastic
strips been used to contain and polish the wet cement-like mass before dry-
ing? We tested immediately. He was toxic again. He had only three days left
before his flight; we could not persuade him to extend his stay to tend to his
edema problem. Or his colon problem. Yet we could not let him go home
with a mouthful of toxic dental fillings.
He agreed to return to the microscope dentist for complete removal
again, by air abrasion; (this does not enlarge the hole). But there was no time
to do another blood test and see that all toxins were gone. He rushed right
over to yet another dentist for the approved zinc oxide and eugenol. Then he
was on his way homeward. But too much was done too hastily. Would his
edema get better or worse? Would his bladder tumor continue to shrink?
Would the rectal bleeding stop or worsen?
Summary: If Mark had lessons to learn about patience, we, too, had les-
sons to learn. Removing plastic from teeth is not as simple as tooth-cleaning.
And removing metal is also a time-intensive and demanding skill. If it is not
done perfectly, it will not be good enough to save a life. It would be better to
extract as many as possible, before the patient is too weak or anemic to sit in
the dentists’ chair.
