‘I was really pleased to make a collage portrait of my nephew, Jake, collage on board, 2319in (5848cm).

Jake, and wanted to make it in a slightly freer way than some commissions I’d made. Jake has very striking looks and had a

serious and watchful gaze when I took the reference photos of him. He was also football mad. I wanted my portrait to

refl ect all these elements.’
