Alongside her, Clive Owen is going to appear
as the late Scott Landon, whose role in the story
is quite big, despite him being dead. Joan Allan
and Dane DeHaan joined the cast as Amanda
Debuher and Jim Dooley respectively, while
Sung Kang was cast as officer Dan Boeckman.
The Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Jason
Leigh was also cast in an as of yet unspecified
role in the series.
The filming of the series began in October 2019
in New Jersey and soon moved to New York.
Production was shut down in March 2020 due
to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the director,
Pablo Larraín, stating that they had a few weeks
of shooting to complete the show. Filming was
wrapped up in October 2020.

Lisey’s Story. The series is set to premiere in
2021 and seeing what a great cast and crew are
behind it, we are quite certain that we’re looking
at a potentially great Stephen King adaptation
that is certainly going to be a hit for Apple TV+.
All we can say is that we are looking forward to
this adaptation and that we are as happy as King
himself that this thrilling and critically-acclaimed
novel is going to get an adaptation that we are
going to see this year.
