forthinkingtheOppoReno4 Pro
5G is as much of a flagshipas any
£1000+handset.It’snicetolookat,
nicetouse,powerful,hasa capable
trioofcamerasandthelatestfeatures
in a highrefreshratedisplay,5Gand
super-fast 65-watt charging.
While the £649 pricetagseemsjust
about competitive, unlessyou’resure
you need this exact recipeofdesignand
performance, you don’thave to sacrifice
much to make a significantsaving.

TheFindX2Neosportsanonly-
slightly-less-capablecameraset-upand
moremodest30-wattfast-charging
butpreservesprettymucheveryother
sellingpointoftheReno4 Pro5Gfor
notablyless.If youdon’tneedthe
Reno’svideocaptureprowess,thenthe
aforementionedOnePlusNorddoesn’t
skimponperformanceandofferswhat
is arguablya superioruserexperience
in theformofOxygenOS,forcloserto
halfthe price.
There’s also the fact that the Reno
5 series, which we touched on at the
beginning, is already breathing down
the Reno 4 line’s neck, with an imminent
release due (in China, at least).
So while the Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G
is a stellar smartphone in every regard,
