you that sharpness isn’t the be all

end all. Of course a slight amount

of camera-shake can be

frustrating if you’re trying to get a

perfectly pin-sharp picture.

But intentionally injecting a little

motion blur with the right vision

can give you a dramatic boost that

is much more effective at grabbing

the viewer’s eye than a static,

perfectly sharp photo.

Over the course of this project

you’ll discover how to use your

Canon camera’s Shutter Priority

(Tv) mode to set the precise

amount of blur in your photos.

Semi-automatic modes like

Shutter Priority can be found on

all DSLR and mirrorless cameras

and will help you take control of

what the camera is doing so you

can get the creative result you

want. Having the ability to slow

down or speed up the shutter is

key to getting shots packed with

dramatic movement. Here we
