The games industry’s biggest event, E3, has

bared its precious secrets to the world once more,

and again Xbox has come up trumps with some

awesome reveals. OXM was there in LA to bring

you all the news from Microsoft’s E3 conference,
as Phil Spencer set out Xbox’s plans that will

evolve gaming over the coming years. This

includes more exciting news of a new console,

Xbox Project Scarlett, and we have all the details

of that, xCloud streaming and tons more, covered
this month! There were many, many exciting

new games announced at E3, too. Check out

our massive preview round-up from page 26,

including Halo Infinite, Gears 5, Cyberpunk 2077,

Watch Dogs Legion, Marvel’s Avengers and loads

besides. You’ll find more details in our 50 Hottest
New Games bonus mag next month too, so look

out for that! It’s going to be a great year!

Chris Burke
Editor
Following the slew of
E3 game news this
June, the OXM team
has also got their own
announcements to
shout about. Chris will be
taking the rest of 2019
and all of 2020 to a) finish
Red Dead Redemption II,
and b) play all of the
exciting games next year.

an evolution

THE OXM TEAM

AdamBryant
Staff writer
After a hectic week
chasing down in
developers in LA, Adam
announced to the world
that he’s going to bed for
about six months. Night
night, Adam.

Rob Crossland
Art editor
Rob has been
proclaiming that he’s
still hammering away
at The Division 2. Hang
on, we’re not sure that
actually counts as
news, Rob...

Drew Sleep
Production editor
Drew’s news is that we
shouldn’t be sad the
Final Fantasy VII remake
isn’t coming to Xbox. He
says FFVIII is the best
one, and that’s coming
to Xbox later this year.

Robin Valentine
Contributor
After playing Outer
Wilds for too long, Robin
announced he’ll be doing
everything in 22-minute
bursts. We’re unsure
how that’s going to work
out for his productivity.
