foremost, there’s just a bit more depth to

its characters this time round. Speaking

of which, playable heroes Karl and Boris

return and are joined by two new zombie-

killing experts: Jun, an ex-attache to a

Chinese diplomat turned zombie-slayer,

and Shola, the daughter of a Nigerian

barrister who enlisted as an engineer when

the Dead War began. Each character is also

fully voice acted this time around. Q

THE IMPOSSIBLE LAIR

ike a zombie creeping

up on you from out of

nowhere, Zombie Army

is back for another bite.

After being kicked into

hell in the previous game,

the undead Hitler is back to his old tricks

of controlling an ghoulish army to take over

the world, and it’s down to you to stop him.

Not alone, of course. This is a co-op

shooter for up to four players, and it’s just

as fun to play on your own as it is with

others. This time, however, there’s more

of a focus on character progression,

something the devs felt they didn’t do

enough of last time. As you tackle

levels you’ll gradually upgrade your

skills, abilities and your weapons,

building the character exactly

how you want them.

That being said, this is

still an action game first and
