Referring to manufacturer’s
instructions, prepare the 4 felt
circles for attaching eyes. To
create an opening large enough
to insert the rod part of safety
eye, cut a small X in center of
the circles. Apply glue to back of
chartreuse circles and place in
centers of yellow circles. Insert
safety eyes in felt circles.
For eye placement: The inner
sides of yellow circles are next
to forehead feathers and the bot-
tom edge of circles are even with
the row below the bottom of the
forehead feathers. Put a mark
with felt tip marker in each st
that each eye will be inserted.
Apply glue to backs of yellow
circles, insert eyes and attach
washer to back of each eye.
Stuff owl with fiberfill.
BEAK
Rnd 1: With size G hook and
camel, ch 2, 3 sc in 2nd ch from
hook, place marker. (3 sc)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in next sc, sc in each
