- Specify data you don’t want to back up by excluding certain folders, creating new or using existing file
masks.
Excluding folders:
Browse for the requited folder(s), then mark a checkbox opposite its name to exclude from backup
processing.
Excluding files by masks:
Hard Disk Manager includes several predefined categories containing file masks for popular document,
music, video and picture formats. Either select an entire category(ies) or use the arrow icon to expand it and
choose a certain file mask(s). If you don’t find the required mask, add your own through the Add your file
types... option.
We do not recommend you to exclude system files.^
