illustrator Jennie

Maizels and, even if you’re lacking

artistic confidence, you’ll create a

set of different designs that you are

proud to show off. The Sketchbook

Club was born from Jennie’s

passionate belief that everyone is

capable of creating art of which

they are proud, sharing her own

tricks of the trade as an artist and

illustrator at her lovely studio in the

Hampshire countryside.

The March workshop is being

held exclusively forThe Simple

Thingsreaders and is ideal for

people who would like to create

beautiful images and become more

confident in their own skills but

feel unsure about how to start.

You’ll will be guided through

three projects using pencils, paints

and more, meeting like-minded

people and eating some delicious

food along the way.

Youwillcreatethreestunning

artworks, either in your sketchbook

or on A3 paper, ready to frame. You

will go home not only with a goodie

bag full of Jennie’s products, but

also everything you need for two

further projects to work on at home.

THE DETAILS

The Simple ThingsSketchbook Club has 16 places, and will be at Jennie’s studio

in Romsey, Hampshire on Thursday 28 March 2019. Time: 10am–4pm. Tickets:

£90, including all tools and materials, plus tea, coffee, cake and a working lunch,

and a goodie bag. You’ll need to make your own way there and home.
