Makes 12
150g dark chocolate, broken
into pieces
150g milk chocolate, broken
into pieces
40g butter
1 tbsp golden syrup
100g digestive biscuits broken
into small pieces
100g Maltesers
100g Mini Eggs

1 Double-line a baking tin with cling
film and set aside. In a bowl set over a
pan of simmering water (take care it’s
not touching the water), melt the dark
and milk chocolates, butter and
golden syrup. Or place the bowl in the
microwave for 30-second bursts,
stirring between each, until melted.
2 Stir in the biscuits and Maltesers
until covered in chocolate. Pour the
mixture into the tin and spread out as
evenly as possible. Scatter over the
Mini Eggs and lightly push them into
the chocolate. Cover and chill for 2–3
hours. When completely set, chop
roughly into 12 squares to serve.
