There are two types of router available: wired and wireless router. The wired router has LAN
ports and only allows devices to connect with LANcables whereas wireless router or WiFi router
has antennas and a wireless adapter which allows devicesto connect wirelessly. In general, the
router has both component wireless as well as LANport.
