Roses
June is the month for roses; a pale
yellow rambler rampant over a shed,
peach hybrid tea roses, wonderfully
scented; small white dog roses tumbling
down a hedgerow. Definitely not
plastic-wrapped single reds from a
garage. However you like your roses,
remove the planter from a macramé
hanger and replace with a jar of buds
