and unfortunately, I believed them. I wish I had told that person they
were wrong.
To someone.
I would like to say for anyone with an Asian background( and to my
younger self really ) that they shouldn't be ashamedof where they're
from, that their culture is beautiful and unique,and that they shouldn't
try and change it to fit the amercanized standardthat is dominating the
media. I also want to tell them to ignore the sterotypesbecause they
aren't true. I would like to tell people of a differentethnicity to try and
diversify their knowledge about Asia and avoid believingstereotypes.
