roots being from the other side of the planet, likeeven if I’ve never
lived there and barely been to Korea it makes me feelconnected
knowing my genes are from a different culture.

People would often ask me whenever we first meet,”So where are you
from?” and I’d just responds automatically that I’mKorean, since I didnt
want to go through the whole process of explainingmy childhood
growing up here.
I realize now that I have the full right to just respondI’m from Sweden
and not need to explain myself.

You are enough! I know it’s hard to push through asa creative and not
be supported by your parents/family but just knowthat it’s okay that
you don’t fulfill other people’s expectations. Livethe life you want to
live and don’t regret it.
