These stereotypes messed me up during my initial years but then I
worked through them and broke them.
A theoretical space without racism.
At first I’d be happy that there is no racism whatsoever,but then later,
putting thought into the situation, I’d realize thatthat isn’t really
possible?
But I would be the same I am now, I’d feel prettygreat about myself
whether or not there is racism.
Correct.
I would just break down the stereotype. I learnt thatif you question
people when they make a racism comment or joke, it’sbest to act
neutral and question it, then to watch them get flabbergasted!
I wish I could’ve learnt to do that when I was younger.

Hm, I wish I had heard more about people being fascinatedwith my
culture. It would’ve been awesome if I could talkabout it with my
friends freely and they were more enthusiastic aboutit?
Like ‘Tell me more about it’ or something, those phrasesmay have led
to me falling in love with my ethnicity way sooner.
