weird for an asian to have tan skin because people never know the
diversity of asia(?). some of it was of course asianbeauty standards, but
this is one of the more frequent opinions i thinkabout that has to do
with asia. overall, i feel “not asian enough” in asense? my eyes, skin,
just most of my appearance in general, wasn’t commonfor asians that
my white peers saw. otherwise, i’m super open aboutbeing viet/asian
to my friends when they ask anything about it.

not necessarily a correction, but i do wish peoplewould understand
how huge and diverse asia is. there’s indonesia, iran,lebanon, syria and
a lot more less known countries. i’m glad if thisreaches anyone and
will help them not be casually racist or at leastbe more informed ;)

it’s kind of bothersome and weird when people compareasians to idols
or characters and such. every time i see an asianvolleyball video
there’s immediate references which is always so weird.it’s not “just
comparing”, half of the time it’s so toxic.
((also like giving yourselves ethnic names for the“aesthetic” while
other pocs struggle because of their names is alsowack asf, don’t do
it))
i’d like anyone that sees this to show and “embrace”their culture more?
more often than not i see people hiding their customsand such, but
