Freelancing – What is Freelancing?
Freelancing can be referred to as the act of offering services online. These services
vary depending on your area of expertise. People who are into freelancing are also
called freelancers.
When I first came across this word years ago, I was as confused as a Dad trying to
understand his little baby’s language. I did a lot of research concerning this very
one topic and eventually got to understand what it is and how to make money from
it.
As a Freelancer, over the past years I have come across different kind of Jobs,
people, and websites that promise you clients and eventually leave you stranded
once you register with them.
Becoming a Freelancer is very easy. All you have to do is learn a particular skill
you know can help you get started and also a skill that is related to the kind of
service people are looking for online. People go online everyday to look for others
who have the skill to perform a specific task for them and they will pay you for
this.
When I say learn skills, I meant you should make yourself useful because not all
skill cost will cost you money to learn. For example, a skill like Article Writing is
free to acquire. There are tons of articles online and also videos on YouTube that
will help you acquire the best skill in Article Writing.
Who is a Freelancer?
Freelancers are often considered to be self-employed, and have the freedom to pick
and choose their projects and companies they would like to be associated with.
Working on a contract basis for a variety of companies as opposed to working as
an employee for a single company. A common profession for freelancing is
