But this act of help raises not only the weakened, but
especially the one who brought it back to life. Here is
the order saying:


In this fast-moving time, where change takes place
overnight, the Order of St. Stanislas, in line with many
others, must face the challenge of change. With great
success, we support aid projects and support people
who are not as well as we are.


The St. Stanislas Order wants to help eliminate misery
in the world. Keeping friendship and taking care


of other people is a moral obligation that the members
of the St. Stanislas Order strive for. The Order of St.
Stanislas is a distinction and symbol of belonging to the
charity group of the Knights and the Dames of the
Order. More than 4000 Personalities from over 30
countries have been honored with this distinction,
which is a proof of approval of the spirit of generosity
to support a multitude of charitable actions.

All knights of the Order of St. Stanislas today are aware
of the tradition of this Order and they are proud to be
a part of an institution that counted many outstanding
personalities as a Chevaliers among its members.

The Order of St. Stanislas is a world-wide, apolitical
and oecumenical organization that pursues charitable
purposes. Its main goal is therefore to support and
develop charitable work of any kind, directed to all
those in need. The funds raised by the Order are all
handed over directly to people in need and aid
agencies. This includes, for example, people who
suffer fatalities, the sick, orphanages, or educational
homes or hospices. It also supports other valuable,
apolitical, and needy initiatives, such as the education
of children from poor families.


All secular and spiritual persons who can identify
themselves with the values, goals and work of the
Order, regardless their origin or nationality, can join
the Order. The members must have completed the age
of 18 years. It is the award of the Order of St. Stanislas,
which makes a person a full and rightful member of
the Order.


Among the Ladies and Chevaliers who have been
honored worldwide in recognition of their charitable
activities, there are bearers of aristocratic titles, high
officials of state institutions, scientists, churchmen,
generals, and parliamentarians from many countries.
The great idea and purpose of our Order - to help the
needy people of this world - connects thousands of
people worldwide.


It is charity and the will to actively help others,
together forming the most honorable characteristic of
a human being. Joy on social engagement and the
happy, interesting Order ́s life consolidate the
community and make the future bright. We support
humanitarian goals with aid projects, especially in
developing countries, through special Christian-
inspired initiatives.


As far as possible we want to ensure that the concept
of social responsibility finds its way back into people's
consciousness. We try to implement this through
active help that is within our capabilities and to be an
example for others.

The St. Stanislas supports humanitarian projects both
nationally and internationally. The today ́s Order is a
Christian, oecumenical Order that practices tolerance
and dedication to charity and brotherhood. The
concept of chivalry is still important in the modern
world. We want to represent the virtues of charity and
tolerance in the spirit of chivalry in the modern world.

It requires a high degree of moral courage and courage
to resist the rather negative currents of the times.

We know that solidarity with the weaker and the
disadvantaged in our society can only be achieved if as
many people as possible are inclined towards this goal
and accept the obligations derived from this.

Many charitable works of St. Stanislas Order are
carried out as long-term Projects of the Priorate.
Preference is given to care of the physically and
economically weak and providing assistance in
disaster and emergency situations.

The Poverty Reduction programs as charitable and
social commitment and the development of social
programs for populations affected by protracted
crises.

King Poniatowski created a religious order in which the
opportunity was offered to know and appreciate in
practice the unified, constructive power of
harmonious action.
