The French Riviera and Monaco were proud that the

135 th Investiture, 2010 Berlin

Unfortunately, our meeting was overshadowed by the
tragic event of the aircraft accident where the Polish
president died. It was quickly decided to reshape the
Holy Mass for the victims of the disaster in the funeral
service. At 12 o'clock the Grand Master, Jan Zbigniew
Count Potocki, moved into the church to lead the
celebration of the Investiture. The mass service in
Berlin in the St. Kamillus Church, was preceded by
Father Krystian Respondek. He gave the homily and
the commemoration speech to the victims of the
disaster. The church service was musically embellished
by the church choir of the Berlin Opera Soloists and the
organ virtuoso Daniel von Lison. Chev. Daniel Baron
von Lison presented at this ceremony the hymn of the
Order of St. Stanislas, which he had composed. The
melody with fanfare sounds was much appreciated by
the audience and spread a truly noble and chivalrous
mood. With the symbolic knight dub, the candidates
were accepted into the Order. Candidates were
accepted into the Order – 6 Dames, 14 Knights and 1
reverend priest (from the Commandery of Frankfurt
were 3 ladies and 6 gentlemen); also, the promotions
of 9 members of the Order were proclaimed. The
festive music, composed by our Chevalier Daniel Baron
v. Lison, gave the investiture the splendor and
solemnity that many will still envy us. The gala dinner
and reception were held in the Orangery of the Royal
Prussian Charlottenburg Castle of Frederik the Great.
Sublime Presentations of the Berlin Residence
Orchestra concluded the festive evening.
