The Order of St. Stanislas, together with the Grand Priory
in Germany and the Grand Prior of the Grand Priory in
Germany, personally, Chev. Thaddäus Baron von Lison
G.C.C.St.S., Grand Marshal of the Order, are officially
registered in the United Nations as an NGO (Non-
governmental organization), this since 2010. The Order of
St. Stanislas interacts with the Office for ECOSOC Support
and Coordination, United Nations, New York, N.Y. 10017.
Being part of the civil society, we are actively engaged
with the United Nations in strengthening and promoting
the UN Charter ́s three pillars: peace and security, human
rights, and development.
The main Goal of the projects of the Grand Priory of the
Order of St. Stanislaw in Germany, not only in Germany,
is the idea of providing direct assistance in a specific place
for specific people. It is for this purpose that such
assistance can be immediate, effective, and meaningful
and responds to specific needs for people who are in need
and need help or support in building a dignified and
respectable life.
Investiture in Monaco, 2018. During the Charity Gala of
the Grand Priory of Germany, this year, the funds raised
were allocated for a Paramusix project: This time it was
donated to a young, musically very gifted man, for whom
owning his own violin was like a dream. The young
talented boy received his own violin, and it was paid for a
year-long scholarship for him.
This Action was organized by the SozialWerk StS
Foundation of the Grand Priory, together with ‘Bright
Hopes for Kids’ Monaco Association. The Monaco
Organisation ‘Peace and Sport’ was handing over the gift
on April 6th, 2018, at the Zaatar refugee camp in Jordan to
this young musician.
Our organizations have a wide range of activities and the
freedom to directly communicate with persons or objects
of interest to obtain opportunities to advocate our
projects. Ideas and projects are presented at unofficial
events and lobbied for to be endorsed by the UN
recommendations and decisions. The Grand Priory of the
Order of St. Stanislas in Germany had decided to help
people in Africa. Their efforts are to help children in Ivory
Coast, exactly in the town Abidjan, seat of the
government, with direct personally engagement down
there. Some financial help was provided to poor families
and supporting children in the field of education. One of
the ideas was to found a School, an Academy of Sport, and
to set up simultaneously a Football Club “GALAXY
ABIDJAN” for all kids of all ages, in Abidjan, in the year
- Over the last years, substantial financial support
was provided for this purpose. In 2020, in the Corona
Virus Covid- 19 time, the organization supported the
people down there in Abidjan with Protective Disposable
Masks, and so far, we have surpassed US $ 5,000 in
donations.
