Gala receptions, Gala concerts and Banquets
It is a custom that, after the investiture taking which
takes place in a church, in the late afternoon or
evening of this day, takes place a solemn meeting of
all participants around a good table, which is the
opportiunity of cordial talks or common
remembrances, recolletion of old memories,
squeezing old friendships or making new
acquaintances. This takes place in different forms
depending on the individual capacities in each
country and each local Priory in various forms such
as: Gala Dinner or Charity Galas, combined with
concerts with selected cultural program highlights
of the gala concert. Also, the, various forms of
fundraising to an humanitarian contribution for
selected charitable institutions are often tried.
These festive provide an opportunity to remind the
guests about the idea of the founder of the Order
and permit the realization of its ambitions. The
moral obligation of humanitarian aid and social
engagements of the Order and its Companions, are
important ambitions to pursuit.
It should be accentuated that a particulary concern
of Grand Priory in Germany, ist to associate every
investiture of St. Stanislas with a high standing
cultural, musical and social event.
German Charity Galas are regularly associated with
musical concerts of outstanding artists of the music
scene, in connection with exclusive gala dinners and
often some kind of raffle or auctions.
On 0 4 th of May, 2013 , the Paramusix Gala took place
for the third time in favor of the “Bärenherz”
Foundation for providing help to seriously ill
children. The venue was the Herzog-Friedrich-
August Saal of the Casino-Gesellschaft in Wiesbaden
in the Friedrichstreet.
